Saskatchewan Polytechnic’s Introduction to Indigenous Studies MOOC is a free,self-paced online, non-credit course designed to help students gain awareness of Indigenous culture and history, focusing on Saskatchewan, with an examination of reconciliation in Canada.

 

Course Description

Introduction to Indigenous Studies MOOC will provide students an introduction to the Indigenous cultural groups within Saskatchewan. Students will learn about the colonization of Indigenous peoples by the Canadian state, will look at current issues involving reconciliation, and will explore possible solutions.
