Caregiving Strategies (Winter 2020)

You will be interested in this course if you are a family member or friend providing care and support to a senior who is experiencing frailty. You will learn about living with frailty and develop strategies to support you in your caregiving role.

Course Description

This course focuses on improving your skills, knowledge, and confidence as a family member or friend caring for a person living with frailty.

Course content explores your own self-care and topics associated with frailty. Research evidence suggests that applying strategies associated with these topics can support health, well-being, and improved quality of life.

This course offers diverse learning materials, relevant readings, videos, engaging activities, and opportunities to connect with other caregivers through moderated, online discussion groups.

Together, caregivers and health care professionals co-designed this course based on real-life experiences and expertise.
